9. TO ADOPT AND PRACTICE A NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY
The Company shall no discriminate on the basis of age, race, caste, gender, marital status, religion or disability.
10. INFORMATION
The Company should give information on interest rates, common fees and charges through any one of the following:
a. Putting up notices in its branches;
b. Customers calling on telephone or help-lines;
c. On Company’s website;
d. Through designated staff / help desk; or
e. Providing service guide / Tariff Schedule.
11. IN RESPECT OF PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS THE COMPANY SHALL:
a. provide clear information explaining the key features of its services and products that customers are interested in;
b. provide information on any type of product and service which it offers and that may suit customer’s needs;
c. Advise the customers that it offers products and services in more than one way [for example, on the Internet, over the phone, in branches and so on] and tell them how to find out more about it;
d. Advise the customer what information it need from him / her to prove his /her identity and address, for the Company to comply with legal, regulatory and internal policy requirements.
12. FOR CUSTOMER THE COMPANY SHALL:
a. provide more information on the key features of the product, including applicable interest rates / fees and charges;
b. Not inform/extend through telephone calls / SMSs / emails any new product / service unless and until he/she informs them in writing that his / her consent to avail of this information/service.
